Defence Radar was founded by Sascha Rahn – a communications professional, reserve officer and political scientist specialising in security policy. For nearly 20 years, I have supported defence and security organisations with strategic monitoring, credible communication and crisis preparedness.

Sascha Rahn is a communications professional, political scientist and reserve naval officer (Fregattenkapitän d.R.) with nearly 20 years of experience in the defence and security sector.
He has advised companies, government bodies and international organisations on strategic monitoring, crisis communication and stakeholder engagement.
His career includes leadership roles as Vice President for Communication and Vice President for International Cooperation at the German Reservists Association.
He also served as Head of the German CIOR Delegation and participated in the German-American Reserve Officers Exchange Program with the US Navy.
Sascha Rahn holds a Magister degree in Political Science, Public Law and Modern History and is an active member of several professional associations, including the German Atlantic Association and the German Society for Defence Technology.
